Unable to connect to my Kaseya Server from giMobile.

There are a few items that can cause this situation.

 

  • You’ve just downloaded giMobile from the Apple AppStore.  Tried to login using your Kaseya Server credentials.

Greater Intell's giMobile requires a server side component that enables communication between the mobile device and the KServer.  This same product also enhances the capabilities of Kaseya by extending its functionality and improving its data presentation capabilities.   We can get you setup with a trial in pretty short order if you would like to take it for a spin so to speak.

 

  • The Kaseya Server needs to have the “API Services” set to enable.  This can be done under

In Kaseya VSA navigation sidebar, select System / Server Management / Configure.  There you will find “Enable VSA API Web Service.” Make sure it is checked.

 

  • The Kaseya Admin needs to be identified as a giMobile user (Traveler) within giOpsCenter.

In Kaseya VSA navigation sidebar, Select Greater Intell / giOpscenter / Admin Management.  Select your Kaseya admin that you wish to login via the giMobile.  Also select the Kaseya Admin you wish to allow the use of OpsCenter.
